1. Θεμελιώδης προσαρμογής στενή είσοδος δρομέα (<2mm), flow divider cone, or nozzle tip. Because of the high-speed melt flow, these regions produce a lot of frictional heat, which causes temperature readings to be off. Select a Location with Good Temperature Representativeness: It is advised to install in the hot runner connection area or the central section of the main runner. In this case, there is little local interference, a consistent temperature distribution, and stable melt flow. Keep a Reasonable Thermal Coupling Distance: To prevent conduction overheating or reaction latency, keep a distance of 15 mm ± 5 mm from the heater center. Practical Value: In a medical catheter mold, the product yield increased by 12% and the temperature variation dropped from ±6°C to ±1.8°C after the sensor was moved from the nozzle tip to the central region of the main runner. 2. Crucial Elements of Multi-Cavity System Modification Symmetrical Arrangement: To avoid uneven filling as a result of temperature measurement errors, each channel sensor's installation depth, angle, and distance from the heater must be constant. Use Positioning Fixtures: To guaranty consistent installation locations every time and minimize human mistake, use specialized fixtures or templates. Reserve Debugging Holes: To make it easier to compare data performance at various areas during trial molding, many temperature measurement holes can be set aside at first installation. Note: Strict management is necessary because asymmetrical layout is a major cause of multi-cavity imbalance. 3. Steps for Installation and Verification After shutting down and cooling, make sure the hot runner is fully cooled to prevent burns or component damage. Clean mounting holes: To guaranty effective heat conduction, remove carbon residues and deposits. Apply thermal grease: To minimize temperature measurement lag, apply a tiny bit of high-temperature thermal lubricant between the sensor and the hole wall. Tighten to torque requirements: To keep the fastening nut from loosening, tighten it with a torque wrench. Record position parameters: For simple traceability, make a record that includes angle, depth, and distance. Safety Principles: The four procedures of "avoiding hot spots + maintaining spacing + symmetrical placement + data verification" must be followed in order to accomplish reliable temperature control.
